Do you think 'Profili" works for this task? I'm not sure!

Ah Mak,

Are you making a new weapon? ME TOO

For vacuum bagging, I think the mylar leading edge must need to match the foam, while the trailing edge needs not, and so the mylar is actually larger than the foam. And since vacuum bagged wings usually have straight leading edge, does it necessary to print out an accurate wing planform?

As you asked, I think you must have your reason. Top secret weapon??

The leading edge is not straight. That's the problem !
I tried both Profili and Compufoil, but they don't do what I need !

Ah Mak, what sort of wing you try to work out this time, DLG or F3F, I have a blue foam wing core with AG45-46-47, and I do not think I will bag it, if you are interesting to do the bagged before you figure out the wing plan drawing method, ring me whenever you like, Patrick

Hi Patrick,
Thank you for the offer.
I have no problem with the foamcore. It's the skin templet, which I couldn't workout!

Ah Mak, you mean you cannot work out the plan of the AG airfoil wingspan? Patrick

I'm going to bag the beetle, which have complex core shape. The wing core is constructed with 6 foam sections.
I need to cut mylars to match with the composite wing layup. which should cover the wing surface area exactly. What I can do now is to lay a sheet of transperent paper on the wing, and sketch the shape with pencil, but the results are not very good!
The bagging will be an easy job, if I can find a program to print out the top and bottom cover sheets for the many sections of the beetle !
If I can get the beetle to work, there will be no difficulty for any other wing layup jobs!

Dear Mak,

Great to hear that you are back to construction work from business. I saw you cutting the foam core, and I would be most grateful to see how you bag the wing. Please give me a call when you are ready.
Regards.
(Sorry for I could not help for figure out the programme)

Ah Mak, the most simply way I can figure out is the same as yours, but I will choose to use the bottom or the top piece which cut out from the core, they should be exactly the same as the core, right? Patrick
