Hi guys,

I am really bored after weeks of heavy rainfall!

Now the sky is cleared up, time to go out to have a day of fun! Weather forcast tomorrow is S-SSE, force 3, so where should we go?

Fei Ngo Shan may not be too crowd for us to fly our big F3F gliders. Are there anybody interested in going to Robin's Nest S-SE slope on the mountain top? Really want to try the slope which may be suitable for the F3F contests later.

yes, the sky is cleared up.

However, due to the 'whose' effect, I think the wind would be weak tomorrow.

(P.S. I have to work, and cannot join)

Oh! How can I do this?

Just by extreme luck! The chance to get this kind of demage is so rare but somehow I got it! :x

I flew my new Ceres in Fei Ngo Shan last Saturday with 1 to 2m/s southwest wind. The wind was consistant in the begining with very strong thermal activities and I did have a wonderful time. But at about 3pm the wind was suddently switched direction and my plane was sinking like a falling rock, so after I struggled for a while to try to gain height but failure, I found a nice spot with flat grassy area for landing. It was an unevenful landing with slow touch down, no spin, nothing, but I heard a small crack sound. I thought it would only be a small scratch in the belly. After the recovery, I was so suprised that the demage to the wing was so extend that the wing spar was severely damaged (actually there is a crack in the spar), and the bite was so big that would be very difficult to fix!

I am consulting with experts how to repair and reenforce the spar! This Ceres will be in a deep coma for a forseeable long period!

Stanley
