I would say, currently, the most popular 60" moldies in HK are:

MiniNYX
Shooting Star
Microfloh
Prodij/Mininch
MiniCorado
Banana
Fredy
Destiny
Pixel
MinEllipse

These gliders all have their pros and cons in terms of performance/price tradeoff. There are other issues to consider also; suitability for different wind conditions, easy to demage, and etc.

So you need to find one that suit your flying style most. Good luck!

MiniDick's question is: Need easy build and fast.... Where can he buy it?

Your answer is not want he need, I think you need to answer him again.

Mini-NYX is fast to build, flys fast, and you can buy it from Stanley.

Saw masters flying nice moldies last week. People around said they can be purchased in Yau Ma Di, just around HK$1,200. After searching in WaiGo and Guang Wa Street, not found  Anyone got idea about :

1. What is the name of that moldies ?
2. Is it made in China ?
3. Where to buy it ?
4. Is it good for entry level ?
5. Any good / bad about that moldies ?

Looks the budget of one MiniNYX can buy almost two of them :D

Not sure if it's the same one you taking about. But the following shop at Mong Kok has a molded sailplane about $1200. No ideas on the name, but outlook is similar to most 1.5M slope racer. Why not give eddie a call to see if he still has it for sell. I believe it's out of stock for a while.

:D Hi guys,

I think you are talking V2.
A 1.5 meter moldies with reasonable finishing. I flew with it once. The performance was not bad. Just a personal opinion, the V-tail seems a bit small, whilst the elevators are thick.

It would be one of the good choices for beginner.

Cheer,
:P

Agree with Ah Pong,

It's Vtail is very small, acutally I believe it is the same tail as Mini Falcon. Looks unmatch with the rest of the plane.

:D Hi guys,

A portion scanned from the book "the glider (Stelio Frati)" might give you some ideas on tail area calculation.

One thing you have to consider:

Previous shippment does not have factory installed pushrod (you have to buy it seperately), no servo covers, and even no aileron & elevator horns. Not easy to build comparing to Mini-NYX.

My friens told me that. He has one still in the store room.
