The wing and tail are pre-painted therefore, no painting or covering is necessary. The body is made of reinforced kelver (tough and stronger than fibre glass). Simple painting will do the job or if you in a rush, you can leave the paint out. I am a Sparrow lover and have flown another one for more than one year. It is almost unbreakable (even with rough landing). The wing is very strong. It can fly in almost all wind conditions. From light wind (use flaps down for lift, if necessary) to very strong winds with additional lead in its stomach. This bird is totally maintenance free. It is especially suitable for someone who enjoys flying rather than repairing the plane.
