Sierra
Sierra is a conventional foam core balsa sheet design with a high degree of pre-fabrication. Its fuselage is made from pre-painted, molded, composite materials. The fuselage features removable nose cone for rapid access to radio and provides extra protection for delicate electronics. The wing is a 3-segment wing design for ease of transportation. This beautiful ship is claimed to be an F3F or F3B sailplane although its speed task is rather disappointedly slow. The flying weight is very light for a sailplane of 2.5m in size that makes it well suitable for thermal soaring. The cost is very attractive too and is certainly a good-value-for-money collection.
