Dear F3F flyers,
The web site for the 2006 Viking Race in Scotland is up.
http://www.vikingrace2006.co.uk/
A Hong Kong team with 3 members has already been registered. We are still talking to the organizer to see whether we can send 2 teams, but I would say it is very unlikely.
This year we have our Taiwanese friends also joining the VR2006, cheers!
Should be setup a practicing/training course for our HK team in the preparation of VR2006?
Practice, practice and practice! |

Dear Kin,
Are you going to recruit 'helper'? What is the wages? I am only joking.
Talking about 12 degrees, please do not forget the 'Wind Chill' effect. Not to worry, we have so many fellow soarers who had taken part in International Contest. No doubt, they can give you advice from their experience. Of course, don't be shy to ask.
Teaching the green, does this include 'green green' like me?

Dear Kin,
Has your 12 Ch Futaba arrived yet ?
By the way, have you find out the 'Snap flap' setting on the 14MZ ? No doubt, you will need that information on your 12 Ch setting.

Well, for some reasons, I will be in UK from 3 to 7 September, so most likely I will stay behind for a few more days to see how you guys practice and compete in Viking Race in Scotland.
I will probably leave on 10 or 11 September. Can I share a room with you guys? I can help to launch your gliders though
Angus, have you registered the HK team to the organizer yet? The dealine is April! I guess you need to start applying for the FAI sport licenses as soon as possible.
