Hi Ah MAk,

You make me recall this:

The international races taught us one important thing: To get good result you have to adapt to the new flying conditions FAST. The sooner you feel comfortable to the new flying site, the better result you can get. So lets take this chance as a practice. :)

Hi Allan,

I am really sorry to make you so frustrated on racing too frequently. Particularly I understand the psychological effect if we have to race in difficult landing sites under bad weather conditions.

Let’s put it that way. We will go there on Sunday. If the rain is heavy we cancel the race. Anyway even if the race is cancelled, it is by any mean still a good gathering for us to escape from a week long hard work in the cramped office.

You know I myself would only be able to go out one every two weeks or even one per month for glider flying. I see the race in each month as a kind of F3F practising only, I do not have time to fly other gliders don't even mentioning a time slot for pre-race F3F practising.

In fact, I think it is quite boring if me alone or only a few of us to go F3F practising. I rather enjoy big group gathering and flying.

Why don't we see the race as a kind of ordinary F3F practising with a large group of friends sharing the same interest and spending a day relaxing on the slope?
If you think that way, you will certainly feel more comfortable to race with crazy guys like us!

Hey, C.M.,

I think you missed one other very important point here. We have to train ourselves to survive in harsh landing conditions; the survivability of the planes is also a major factor for wining the contest

Ah Pong

Oh, sorry,

:!: "The following's were written in invisible ink, which only F3F pilots can read" : :!:

Stanley,

I had a belief.
We F3F guys are all Nuts.
 Don't you try to tell us, there are sensible people within the group!

When a person who spends days and weeks to build a plane, then crash it into pieces. Rebuild it, so that he can smash it up on the slope again!
 Do you really belief he don't want to fly as often as possible?

His message must have been written while he was on-line with his better half. so that the onlooker feels more comfortable !

8) Just do it.
We will all get crazy and be happy guys.

The DLG event in Shenzhen is scheduled on 17 June 2007. However, we need to confirm the condition of the flying field after next Thursday or Friday. The forecast of next week is still heavy rain and thunderstorm.
If the weather is good and the field is dry next Sunday, we better fly DLG as scheduled. Should The DLG event at 17 June be delayed, it can be rescheduled to other day in late July.

Strongly agree :o We have to be responsible for the safety of pilots :!:

If the weather forecast is not promising, we should re-schedule the race :o
