As usual, good wind comes in the weekdays instead of weekends. The weather forecast shows East force 4-5 in the coming Friday, 6 Apr with sunshine. The good condition is unlikely to be sustained to Sunday, 8 Apr. Instead of the match in 8 Apr, I'd propose advancing to 6 Apr. It is still within the Easter holidays and many pilots have confirmed OK.

All pilots are welcomed, especially those missing for long time, such Law Wah, A/C Wai and the new comers - Marcus, Doctor, Henry, Vincent ...

I second Angus on the proposal to advance the race to make use of a better weather and wind condition.
Could we have the race on 7Apr than on 6Apr to let pilots better preparation while the weather forecast on these 2 days should hold.

We better fix the date as soon as possible, otherwise people will get confused. Most of us will be very busy during these days and many have planned activities for family.
I have changed my original schedule to make way for 6 April, but if it needs to be changed again, it will be difficult for me and my family.

The date for the match is confirmed to be this Friday, 6 April 2007. Pilot briefing at 9:30am and the contest will be started at 10:00am sharp.

We have a few days holiday, and the wind forcasted for 8 April is also very promising, I wonder whether we should have another race (informal) on 8 April to catch up for what we lost in last few months. That will be good because we need to practice more in preparation for the Korean Open.

Today F3F contest was cancelled due to bad weather.

In order to cure my illness for the lack of F3F practice, I would like to go up to Ma On Shan on 8 April to practice F3F, anyone fancy to go also?

I will go on both 8 and 9, should be the last chance to practice before Korean Open.

I'll be available on 8 or 9 Apr but not both. If weather is not good in 8 Apr, we can make decision in the early morning and postpone to 9 Apr.

It would be good if an informal race can be organized either Apr 8 or Apr 9 as warm up race for Korean Open :o

I also have only one-and-only-one quota left - either Apr 8 or Apr 9 :? Plan to reserve it for Apr 9 8)

Can we fix the race day to 9Apr. The weather and wind forcast look better than tomprrow. Let tomorrow be an optional practice day. I don't have much quota left for this Easter holiday.
Is this a re-schedule of 6Apr's race or just an informal race not counted in the league?

I will be out of town and will not be available on 9 April. As I know some of you will not be available on 8 April, so I propose to have informal races on both days, 8 April and 9 April, you can choose to attend any of these races, the results will not be counted in the F3F league anyway. These informal races are just for giving us more practising. However, I would suggest to set up the poles and timing gear as usual provided that we have sufficient manpower.

I will be in the car park at 9:00am. Lee Man just phoned me, he will be there as well. See you tomorrow then if you come, otherwise, hope you enjoy the race on 9 April then.

Look like there is no Sun light and hence no thermal! Should we gather somewhere for a tea party 飲茶 and then decide where to go flying?
Bring the DLG and other gliders. Where should we meet in Tsang Kwan O?

有成績啦!

Image

Hi Angus,

The time of round 7 and 8 on the sheet are identical. Seems something is wrong.

Yup, I crashed her seriously AGAIN

不幸炒機 : Slightly pity - need few weeks of ICU

未能比賽 : Moderate pity - seldom such good condition for F3F race

Still don't know why entered into irrecoverable spin AGAIN : BIG pity

Depression .... depression ...

Hi Wing,
It's really a bit sorry. Your Pike is really impressive and fast in the morning practice.
Thanks for helping me to retreive my naughty Big Bananna this morning. Looking forward for your performance next month.

Yeung

An event occurred when I tried to land the plane. While the elevator compensation on crowing is not adequate, the plane finally landing on the top of the tree.
