Thanks Hendry. We have very good fun this morning. Without your post, we might have gone to HJP, and would not have the chance to get sub 40's.

Weather forecast says still easterly tomorrow, see you guys at MOS.

:P :P

By the way, also thanks to Stanley ( the wind god) for not coming.
 :?:  :?:

Dear all,

It was strong easterly wind this morning. I called Stanley and said I would fly at FNS for DSing. He replied that he would leave home around 11:00 am.

I arrived at 10:30 am, and got only one round for DSing. The wind dead down then. At last, we went to other side of the slope as the wind turned to opposite side !!!

I have nothing to say about this phenomenon. Anyway, this is the last soaring trip I would have for the year 2006. I am pretty sure starting from next year onward I will have all the good luck with me, so do come for the Jan 7 F3F, I am expecting STRONG wind for the first race of year 2007, this is a good chance to log your personnel best!

I did not believe that "Stanley effect" before I witnessed it last Saturday, now I am fully convinced.

Wish the wind god be with you, Stanley, starting 2007.

Pong, I won't be able to join today as I am still in China(yes, it's a working day here, can you believe it?). Will call you tomorrow if there is wind.

Charles.

I went up to MOS this afternoon. The wind was very weak, I was so unfortunate this year - really hope luck will be with me in year 2007.
Glad to see Mak's Aris maiden today, yes, his Aris was hiding somewhere in UK for three months and finally surfaced last night. As the wind was weak, we (three planes) flew very close to the slope, Ah Pong's Elita was fortunate to be hit by my Aris - ha ha! Ah Pong you can have an excuse to buy new plane now. Anyway the tail was damaged to some extend, so what plane he will use for next week F3F contest? I took many movies but the network is still very slow for uploading. Hope to do it later when the network is fully recovered

This Aris re-surfaced after resting in UK's airport for three months.

Mak is happy with the performance of his Aris

Y.C.'s (sorry, now Ah Pong's) elita has a new look.

Its tail was damaged in a midair
