I will visit my family in HK in the comming Jan. It would nice if I may fly at your flying fields for some soaring fun :)

Looks like Stanley and his friends are flying almost every weekend at Ching-Sui-Wan or Ma-On-Shan. Photos on this forum seems to suggest HK are of BIG lift type. Ans you boyz are into molded planes.

Well, I have an Alula (36",5oz EPP) that fits in my luggage with my 72MHz Ch44 7CAP. Do you think it "fits" the air in HK?

What is a typical EPP sloper plane cost in HK? I am considering just buy one and fly the living-snot out of it before I left for home.

Many thanks.

Hi Fai, welcome to Hong Kong!
Alula is well suitable for slopes in HK because most of them, except possibly Ma On Shan, have some degrees of landing difficulty.
Anyway, the wind in this time of the year is usually big, so you'll have lots of fun in our slopes.
You can buy an EPP wing, like Bee and Bat, for just a few hundred HK dollars. Check out some of the model shops in HK if you have time. Cheers
