 Post subject: 以後飛要睇 delta P

Angus 最近報料話地下天文台( http://www.weather.org.hk/chinese/) 公佈個 delta P 曲線可以準確預測東北季候風既勁度﹐初步睇真係有D料到﹐尋晚大約六點係湖南既郴縣同上海出現高氣壓﹐大約 10 小時後強勁東風就到港﹐而且係不論地區成日都咁勁﹐唔似得先果排咁天氣預報話 4-5 級風﹐但D風只係晚上勁﹐日頭就弱。石澳 OK﹐ 但馬鞍山就 PK 既情況。大家不妨以後參考下個 delta P 。 但呢個資料只係 10 月到 3/4 月有用﹐夏天唔得。

今朝吹北風﹐偏弱﹐但 delta P 顯示下午會轉東﹐同轉強﹐果然係真﹗

Does that mean delta P(972) indicate North wind, and delta P(S) brings East wind ?

Yes, DP(S) brings East Wind. Please also note the time lag so that you can forecast for tomorrow.
