Hi guys,

As some of the fellows already known that, my be loved Sting's was mid-air last week!!

The wing-join tube was broken, and this must be carefully treated, otherwise, it will break again when making turns.

I use Kevlar fabric (the material for bullet proof vest) to make a web around the broken area, hope it can work.

Will update the progress later......

Hi Pong Pong, don't cry ! We all understand the pain ! With your excellent repairing skills and SK-II treatment, you will fix the mid-wing panel perfectly !

Just my 0.02, my English is not good but just asked my teamate - Never say "my be loved" to your wife - in past tense in means ... so say "my belove" :!:

Ah Pong is perfectly right! He no longer loves his "be loved" Sting. His belove wife should be more important for the time being - until a new playmate called RaceM came about!

Dear Pong,

Do not made it known to the general public as your 'personal issued vest' is getting thinner and thinner ! :D

Bullet proof vest is only good for live saving operation but may not be good for head on collision! So forget about the repair, get a new centre wing panel - see, brand new glass panel, white (top), red (bottom) right suitable for you! Is it attractive?

Hi Stanley,

Thanks for your suggestion. I wish to have it but I have insufficient money!

Anyway, how much does it cost? (please send PM to me or call me)

I am going to sell some of my toys in order to get your panel.

My suggestion is BOTH ! Given the immediate availablity and matching color brand of new panel, there's no need for you to wait X months or Y years :? You can make you "belove" Sting back to excellent flying performance as she used to be 8) Remember this is always your F3F wife 1.0 :!: prior to your upcoming sexy playmate RaceM

Repair the old panel as your DIY enjoyment ! Use it for practice or borrow to other Sting lovers when they need la

Hi, Ah Yeung,

Thanks for the info.
By the way, which kind of paint that you would recommend for white colour?
(the current brand that I am using {normal hardware shop's paint} is a bit translusent)

Regards,

Hi Pong,
Don't mix the paint. It may mess the job. Tamiya TS7 racing white is OK.
Here is an article about spraying from Tamiya USA which is very informative to me.

Enjoy it.

Hi Yeung,

Very unfortune, the wind god did not give me a chance to test!
The STING just sat there for sun bathing.

Will update you next time.

Dear fellows,

I bought a new panel from Stanley.

Guess which is the new one?

By the way, Ah Yeung, the repaired panel did fly very well last week at MOS. I hardly found the differences.

Regards,
Pong
