Understand the organizer would like to take a closer look for go or no go. Given the weather forecast for next day will normally be refreshed around noon, is it possible to annouce the change (if any) by Saturday noon time rather that Saturday night ?

Sorry for this request but I really don't want fly back on Saturday late evening at a rush and then find out the race has been re-schedule ! Many thanks !

No problem, we can announce it on Friday night. We will definitely go for the race once the decision to go ahead is made on Friday night then.

See you all this Sunday.

KIN KIN, you should not use up the easterly wind today at MOS and have to spare some for other pilots on coming Sunday!

Ah Kin, I think Sunday wind will be sufficient for the race but may not be too good for you! If you have too much wind, your RaceM will easy enter 高潮, then only you will be happy, not us!

Today, we have good wind in the morning, but the wind graduately die down in the afternoon, therefore I would propose to start the race earier on Sunday. How about pilot briefing at 8:30am, race will start sharp at 9:00am.

C.M., get some good sleep at night and wake up earier, otherwise nobody can help you to bring the heavy equipment up to the mountain.

Weather forecast for Sunday is very promising!

Wind: East force 4 to 5.
Weather: Mainly cloudy. One or two light rain patches later.
Temp: 18-21 C
RH: 80-95 per cent

So the race will be run as planed.
Pilot briefing at 8:30am
Race will be started at 9:00am.
We will try to get as many rounds as possible.

Please come early to help setting up the course. Cheers and thanks

If the top three pilot, they are not interesting to go VR they just enjoy to fly .
Is it the 4,5,6, pilot(want to go VR) to go the contect in UK ???
If yes ! the 4,5,6, pilot is not the top fast pilot in HK !(our website is open !Is it no problem)?
If no !Why the top three pilot(not to go VR)join this qualifying contect!
A little bit confuse !

Ah Kin,

Have a look at namelist of the current top 3 pilots of the HK-VRQ-1, they will most likely to go when selected.

I would like to go too, if I can do much better in this Sundays race. However, event if I can't go. I will do my best to try and bit you and Stanley on any F3F races!

I consider getting good results in the VRQ, is itself very satisfying.

Dear Kin,

Why worry?

There is no sure win, and there are so many factors affecting results. Just take for example, look at the F1 Car Racing, every works car taking part are so well prepared, each and every driver are ace in the world. Can you predict results?

By the way, in the FAI F3F rules, is there any qualifying time for entering a contest? That means you are required to fly under ?? seconds on the 1000 metres track before you are allow to take part in the contest? In car racing, this apply to most of the race.

Have some good sleep and concentrate on your flying.

Philip Shum

Winf today at Ma On Shan was very unstable. Windy in the morning but whole area was covered with fog where unable to fly. The fog started to clear up at around 2pm but the wind also reduced to minimal condition.
