Dear Stanley and Mak,

I agree to use the name of "SMP". (for others, it means Stanley, Mak, Pong)

However, could we interpret it into " So Mad Pilot" or "Super Mad Pilot".
Maybe, change the name to MPS, which stands for "Master Pilot's Showtime".

Any other view?

Best Regards,

Pong Pong

Hi HK F3F Open pilots,

It is so quiet in this forum. Have you formed a team yet? We have about 24 confirmed pilots participating in the events, so perfectly there will be 8 teams, each has 3 pilots.
Windrider has agreed to donate three 56" Bats for the team award, so please let me have the name of your team, thanks.

We will have the last organizing committee meeting this Sunday night to sort out every details proceeding to the race.
We are still lack of sufficient helpers, particularly, on the local transpot and lunch boxes arrangement. Please come forward to help if you can. Many thanks

Stanley

Thanks Willy

I think Ken will contact you in the mean time.
Will you be available for all the three days 4-6 Nov.?

By the way, are there any pilots who have double and single conversion crystals in 72Mhz low-band to lend to some of our fellow visitors? They need tx and rx crystals for their JR and Hitec gears.

Stanley, which day are you in need of me (and my car)?

Friday, 4 Nov is a working day. I therefore assume you're particularly short of helpers on that day, and am happy to help out.

For 5 and 6 Nov, if there're insufficient helpers, I'll help, too.

Dear all,

Very quiet in the forum recently. Does it means “Silence prior to a storm”?

Stanley,

I was unable to join the preparation meeting on Sunday, any update for me?

My be loved wife (Pauline) will accompany with me throughout the match. She is good in computing, other than manning base A and B, any work could be assigned to her. I have briefed her to include the ‘Pong Pong factor’ in the final result. Hope she could help……

Regards,

:P :P :P

Thanks Willy,

We definitely need your help on Friday as the manpower that day will be tighter.
Will you be able to attend the bandquet on Sunday night? We will have the award presentation during the bandquet.

Alex, thanks for your help!

The organizer will supply a lunch box and a club T-shirt to each helper.

We really appreciate your help, cheers!
THANKS

Also thanks 邦嫂

In short, assistance on Friday, 4 Nov from me and my car confirmed. Await your instruction on the details as my name is omitted in your "To Do" list.

As to the weekends 5 and 6 Nov, will check at the conclusion of the 1st day event on 4 Nov to see if my assistance is also required.

Thanks all of you, guys.

One further help is needed about the local transport.

The Korean team (7 persons) will arrive at Friday afternoon. Since we are already very busy up on the slope, we have difficulty to arrange manpower to pick up the Korean team from the airport to their hotel. Will anybody with a 14 seat van be able to help? They have lauggage and planes so I guess it is quite difficult for them to arrange their own transport.

As I said, most of the visitors will use 72 MHz band, and they usually have the hi-band in their home country. Since we only have legal channels in the low-band, please if you can lend your low-band crystals to them during the race. I myself have the Futaba 72.190MHz available, but I am not sure whether Futaba crystals and JR crystals are compatable or not. Anyone give me the answer?
