The weather looks more promising for this week F3F race. If the wind is easterly we will be in Ma On Shan, southerly in FNS.

Just a quick satistics: How many of you will join the race and how many of you will come as helpers?

Please help to spread the contest information to other pilots who might not have checked on the web.

Really hope to get 20+ pilots and a few helpers.

Cheers

Hi Stanley,

I'll join (to test fly my DEMO . . :x ), and can be a helper.

Just called Ah Wai (Chan Kwok Wai) and he said that he will join too.

YC, can you take photos when you are on the parachute? I just think that it might be interesting to shoot our planes from the other side of the slope.

We may even use these photos to introduce Ma On Shan to the other people who is interested in HKF3F open :o

A wonderful day in MOS for practice ! Thanks again to all "super-speed" masters for the great advice in turning and trimming !

C M, sorry that cannot bring my Carbon Bird tomorrow. I crashed it at high speed, wing & v-tail ok but the wing saddle area around the fuse was almost broken in two pieces :( Still thinking how to fix it

I also maiden my first 2.2M F3F plane today  see if I can fly smoothly with her tomorrow

What a wonderful race today! Strong wind with beautiful sunshine and lots of personal bests! A total of 9 rounds was run.
Most pilots have thier records in the 40s. A new Hong Kong record of 36.15 was created. Congragulation! I would like to thank those who help to make this event successful, in particular, Ah Wing and C.M. for helpping on the timer. Photos and result will be available as soon as possible.

More specifically, the record was created by Stanley :o  :x

I was at base B watching the planes turning. Stanley's turn was accurately right on the point. I think it is secret he won the game.

Another sub-40 (38.xx sec) was created by Ah Wai. He didn't fly the shortest track but I think he used the air very well which make his New-Sting never slow down in the turns.

Good game :o Looking forward to HKF3F open :o
