RC Slope Soaring in Hong Kong

The HK Observatory has upgraded their IVR (interactive voice recording) system. Now we can check the wind direction and wind speed over the phone.

After my 7 years old son played with the phone system for a while, he told me after connected to 1878200, we could simply dial 1221 and jump directly to the wind condition status report in Sai Kung, so no need to wait for those lenghtly machine voices and press the buttons one-by-one

Although 天文台 is not always very accurate but it could be a useful check before packing up to the slope. Wish useful to other pilots !
