After a few months of DIY projects using coroplast & Styrofoam. My friend and I started to work on Blue Foam, Pink Foam and Fibreglass project. Hopefully, our first DIY slope racer will be born soon. 8)

Yes, I modified the wing and see if it could fly better in light wind condition.

Anyone have any ideas on the performance of a flat platform wing? My meaning is - most slope racer left & right main wing joined together at a angle, maybe 170 degree. What will happen if I use MG06 airfoil with no angle at all. Hopefully you know what i mean.[/img]

Dihedral is necessary for planes that use rudder for turning. If your plane is aileron equipped, dihedral can be set to 0 degree (flat wing). Dihedral adds lateral stability but also yaw-roll coupling (plane rolls when only rudder is applied). So pure aerobatic planes have zero dihedral. Other "not-so-aerobatic" aileron equipped planes usually have a few degrees of dihedral for lateral stability, while rudder only planes need very large (>7) dihedral for turning.

Good luck
