:P Hey CM,
I went to FNS today be coz the easterly wind was strong. I played with the Chinese Sting, which got flutter when DSing as well. May be she felt too tired in recent weeks, and dushed into the slope with a view to finish her life. However, I will try my best to save her in my ICU (intensive care unit in my home).

Ah Mak,
I already found the best fingers. They are my thumbs that were given by my late father!

Regards, and happy F3F!! :P

By the way, CM. If I could not save my Chinese Sting, Please order a Demo for me.

Ah Pong, some of us will go up to Shek O to practice F3F on Saturday. If you and Ah Wai are interested, come along and we might get enough people to run a mini F3F!

Ah Pong. No problem, let me know if your 神州史汀 is certified dead. Have you got the "permit" from your wife?

( . . . I think it is not necessary. Everyone knows you have a good R/C wife who supports your hobby. BTW, a few days ago I talked with Master F.Fai and we think that the best R/C wife is not the one who likes flying, but likes building and repairing :  )

Thank you YC,

In my opinion, apart from the normal duty as a wife should do, the best R/C wife should also:

buy and pay for the planes you realy love to own,

(optional) build the planes and install r/c gears for you,

prepare the stuff you need before you go for flying, such as; food, clothing, drink, sunglass.. so on. She would never forget to charge your planes' batteries and get the needed accessories in the tool box,

go with you to fly and take care of every aspect including carrying the planes up to the hill, assemblying the them and getting them ready for you to enjoy,

recover your crashed plane in case if there is a misfortune and also be tolerance to your bad "habit" after the crash!

repair your damaged planes in a limited of time and get them ready again as soon as possible,

encourage you to participate in r/c contest and be ready to sponsor you for oversea trips,

Any other thing I missed?

Over the years I've seen some people wifes do have some of the above criteria, but never found one that has them all.

My dream are going on!

Stanley,

I think Futaba S9650 Digital Mini Servo is quite suitable for your application. Here is the specification:

Length:
43mm between centers of side mounting holes
35.5mm servo body length
42.5mm between the centers of standard mounting holes
Width: 15mm
Height: 28.6mm
Weight: 0.92oz (26 grams)

SPEED:
0.14 sec/60degrees @ 4.8V
0.11 sec/60degrees @ 6.0V
TORQUE:
3.6kg-cm @ 4.8V (50 oz/in @ 4.8V)
4.5kg-cm @ 6.0V (62.5 oz/in @ 6.0V)

I am using Futaba 3002 which is about the same size but much slower. Thus, it should be able to fit into your NYX.

I don't know the price in local shop. It should be around HK$500-600 if you order from internet.
