RC Slope Soaring in Hong Kong

Hello,
I am KM. I am new here, just started work in Hong Kong 3 months ago. I am from Singapore and fly gliders during Dec to Mar due to the seasonal wind. I would consider myself as a late beginner to intermediate RC pilot. Cannot compare to all the Sifu there.
I was in Clearwater bay last Sunday (Jan 11) and saw a few glider actions here.

When is the seasonal wind period that we can fly in Clearwater bay?

There was a China Sunbird 1.5m that flew very well. The glider was passed on to several gentlemen, but unfortunately it crashed due to a mistake from the last pilot.

I was impressed by the glider and is interested in getting the Sunbird. I heard that you can buy it in China? It is small enough for me to take along in public transport.
I will be going to Panyu this week. If anyone have information on where to buy this, please let me know.

Welcome to Hong Kong!
There are some Singaporean pilots we know about, perhaps, you have met them before.

Anyway, as far as I know there is no official distributor for RCRCM in Hong Kong, if you want to buy their gilders including Sunbird, perhaps you can buy it from Taobao or Aliexpress directly. Just search RCRCM Sunbird in Taobao, you can order it with pretty inexpensive and efficient shipment to HK, very convenient. I guess it costs around HK$1200.

Thanks for the information. I searched Aliexpress and found that the price of the Sunbird was around US$580.
Can anyone here point me to the source where I can get the Sunbird or similar glider for around HK$1000?
