Hey guys,
What a great day of flying in Sham Chung!
I think it'll be a good idea to start planning the next event.

Kolosun mentioned that 8/5, 8/12, and 8/19 are booked for other slope events and suggested 8/26. However, I will be competing in Beijing that weekend. Is anyone interested in going to Sham Chung again on 9/2?

Thomas

Hi Thomas,

We have a scale glider gathering on Sep 2, and the League 9 of F3F will be on Sep 9.

So busy! :x

These are the club's activities that were planned before so sorry to say that we cannot change it. However, you do not need to avoid the days of the club's activities! Though the people who can join may be less, especially on the F3F day!

How about on Saturday?

If the interest of thermal soaring is getting greater, we can plan to hold more of these activities in the future. Our next committee meeting will be in September.

Thanks for the info CM!
I have work on Saturday, but I can take a day off once a while to no effect.
What will be the earliest Sunday that will work for you guys?
If it is organized on the same day as other sailplane events I guess not many people will join.

A half day gathering, say on Saturday, could be good enough at this stage. We may target as bi-monthly than a monthly event. It's a give & take if we schedule to many activities on every week end of a month. I'll prefer a total of no more than 2 events in a month no matter they are F3F, Thermal, elect. glider, scale, F3B...

For these DLG activities, shall we move the topic to the forum for Thermal than putting it here as General?

You're right, perhaps we should move the thread to the thermal section, sorry about that.

BTW, Jerone Kole from The Netherlands will be here this weekend, we will fly this Sunday either in Nam Sang Wai or Sham chung, please let me know if you are interested.
