Hey, it was nice to meet you guys yesterday!
Hope we can fly again soon.

Since we are flying so early (7:30), I think we can fly at Nam Sang Wai next time, the field is quite nice, and should be empty at that time too.

In order to get more pilots involved, we really need to organize some DLG contests. Nam Sang Wai may be good only for practicing a few hours in early morning, but what we really need is to find a suitable permanent flying site for holding DLG contests. Cheong Hin in Sai Kung seems to be a big site.
Perhaps, we should choose a Sunday to go there to fly DLG and F3B with winch launch to explore the suitability of this site.

Transportation to this site is relatively inconvenient which somehow is an advantage to us because the rc heli guys would not be interested in. Also, this site is managed by the country park authority, so according to country park rules, power models are not allowed.

Shall we make a trip there to fly DLG and F3B to try out the site?

I don't think so as the elec. heli today is too easy to carry and they can merely jump on a green taxi easily and access directly. These 450 500 heli are powerful and fly long with lipo. They don't need a private car but our heavy equipment or our fragile DLG is less easy to be packed in a taxi.
Ooop, am I revealing too much....

Have a look at Albert's wetsite for elect powered heli...huh

DLG there, OK let's explore

Hi Stanley,
I agree, we need to organize some contests to draw more interest.

That sounds like a very possible field.. will need to explore it a bit :)

I will be going on vacation on April 7 until May 6. I will continue checking into RCSail when I am away, hopefully we will have a suitable site soon!
