Results after league 3 and 5:

Viking race will be held in France in 2010. Please be reminded that the league ranking will be used to choose those who can go. We have had only 2 successful rounds till now and there are still 6 ahead. So everybody there is still chance to catch up and beat Sta xxx, Ang xx, KY xxx, Pxxx Pxxx and W xxg

今個星期日預測吹清勁東風，5至6級！嘩，成個月無放過機啦！有冇飛友有興趣上山飛個痛快呀？如果可以的話怎至可以把比賽推前一個禮拜，因為似乎下個禮拜的風會麻麻地！

成半年都無正式飛過，飛得最爽的都唔係香港，長此下去技術退步囉，點攪呀

It seems that the interest in all kinds r/c soaring including F3F are declining in Hong Kong, don't know why!

Can we increase our exposure on media like several years before? Do you remember our popularity during SARS period? Don't hesitate with impact of Law Wah mishappen.

Wow Southwest force 7 on Sunday

Look like the chance to hold the F3F race this Sunday is very slim. Although we have agreed before that in case of poor weather the race should be cancelled instead of postponed, I would still like to seek your opinion for postponing the race by one week to 26/7. Postponing the race was done before when Angus was CD in April despite it was finally cancelled one week later. Anyway, because we have so far only two successful races held this year, we really need to hold a good race to jet up our spirit. CD and ACD, what do think? Any other suggestion?

Talk to our Contest Director Kolo Wai and here is the update.

Due to typhoon is coming, the F3F race tomorrow will NOT proceed as plan.

To help us decide if appropriate postpone to next Sunday (July 26), in addtion to latest weather forecast on July 25. Please indicate your preference (and help make phone call to others may not view the forum) by July 24 (Friday).

By simply state your preference:

A) Re-schedule on July 26 (OR)

B) Change to inform F3F

The final decision by our CD will NOT be by voting because there could be F3Fer already scheduled vcation trip or need to work on July 26; therefore by voting will not be fair to them. Also due to this year only 2 F3F race were successfully conducted, if due to availablity issue someone skipped the re-schedule race, the impact on scoring will be even more signifant.

To be fair, we have agreed that any one pilot who can not attend the postponed race, we should make it informal. So the matter is simple, if there is any one who can not attend the race on 26/9, then the postponed race should be informal. Instead of collecting all opinions, we just need to ask anyone who can not attend the race on 26/7 to raise his hand.

Of course, personally, I am ok for race on 26/7 either it is formal or informal.

Be it a formal or informal, I need a race!!

Since not everyone may visit the forum, so I am helping to list out all known preferences so that we can approach the rest later by phone to find out if "anyone who can not attend the race"
