Really sad to hear that news.
We had similar accident two years ago, luckily the victim survived and he is still on a long process of recovery.
Recently, there is a similar incident in China for which a 4 year old kid was killed by a powerful r/c helicopter. See the news here

We should be more cautious when we fly our gliders, although we normally fly in remote area, but our gliders are really fast, if we hit someone on ground or paraglider pilot in air, the end result is devastating! Just take care and be more considered my fellow pilots!
