A DLG , a cake , drink, a free day , a grass field . That is live ! last days in Sham chung , that is only me alone in there , But it still let me very happy and test the new plane . But i forget it is not holiday , so ihave no ferry back to station in noon time , it only 6;30om have the last one , but i have walk to 榕樹澳 and call a local guy 's light van $40 to Lo Wai and change the bus back to Sai Tin , still so easy and cheap ! So nice this week the weather is good for DLG . , SUNNY and not hot !

This wing from Thomas , so i don't know what it call ? but very light weight , but not so strength enough for f3f or f3b , just for very light weight models . But lighter than the (LV ) cloth i think . this pair of wing is 100 g .

Glad you had fun yesterday Kin, I need to go fly more!!!! I think the next time I can fly will be the January contest in Dongguan on the 13th... no time to practice this few weeks :(

Regarding the wing, the skin is 39gsm Carboline. It is the same cloth used in some F3J planes now, such as the Maxa. The LV cloth (Textreme) used on sailplanes are mostly 80gsm, with occasional 100gsm and 120gsm cloth used in some parts. We use 80gsm Textreme as well on standard wings, ~120g vs the 100g light version :)

Stanley, when are you free to come over ;)

Anyone interested in a HK event on January 20th?
I would like to run another DLG clinic and talk about setup basics again and focus more time on each person's launching techniques and progress.

Seems like the SCSA January F3K league contest might be postponed (again) to the 20th if the forecasts are true and it rains on the 13th. So, if anyone is interested in the clinic let's meet on 27th instead :)

If the SCSA league contest does get moved to 20th in case of rain, will anyone else be interested in flying from HK (other than me, Michael, and Kin)?

If it does get postponed to January 20th it will be a great chance for the HK pilots to attend as it does not conflict with F3F league! :)

F3K league is still jan 13th right now, it has not been postponed yet (confirmation should be on Jan 11th), I will keep you guys updated. I will help you sign up for the league match first.

If you can let the 13th change to 20th of Jan,that is perfect idea for HK F3F pilot to join the F3k in china .
