If most of you have no problem to postpone the DLG contest, I would suggest the DLG contest be held on 21 Nov 2004, two weeks in between the annual slope combat on 7 Nov and the F3F race on 5 Dec.

Please comment.

Yeah yeah, do not let George down again, YC, he was so much depressed for missing the last electric glider contest, think he cried for several nights already!!! Hahaha....

OK, if there is no objection, we shall set the date for DLG contest on 21 Nov then.
I am a bit worrying as the wind this time of the year is usally strong and from the east. That means a true thermal contest in Lamma site is not possible unless we set out some specific rules not to allow pilots fly close to the slope.

剛剛睇完天氣預測﹐下星期又係好好風﹐就算D人可以及時砌起D機都無用﹐比賽一樣會被迫改期。我有個唸法﹐與其將手擲機賽變做山坡賽﹐好唔好上大陸搞﹐因為上面平地多好多。

今次比賽格式簡單﹐30 分鐘應該可以一 round, 8 round 可以 3 個鐘搞掂﹐應該可以即日來回。大家點睇呢 ?

返大陸要回鄉証,唔係人人都有。

我覺得手擲機不同於電動滑翔機,投擲高度遠不及電機,只要我們限制投擲區域不太接近山坡,能飛到斜坡並利用斜坡上升風的機會便不大,另外亦可考慮飛 Task C 或 Task E 這些並非凈鬥滯空時間的項目。

我都好同意CM所講,如果只是玩Task B,是很悶,而且以山坡增取最大的留空時間是好唔公平。玩Task E 就睇落幾 challenging, 又唔喺好復習,山坡的因數又可以減到最少。

比試留空能力係手擲機比賽既基本 ﹐依家手擲機賽例有咁多款係因為D人想為比賽注入多D運氣成份﹐令新手都有機會贏同提昇比賽既娛樂性﹐吸引更多人參予呢種運動 。

但如果場地有山坡升力﹐任何比賽形式都會變得無意義﹐因為係人都可以控制留空時間既長短。譬如玩 task E﹐我就會掟隻機埋個山﹐等夠44 秒﹐然後落地﹐再掟機埋個山﹐等夠59 秒﹐再落地﹐再飛一次超過90秒﹐落地就囉滿分。咁樣就變左唔係比試留空能力﹐而係降落時間既準確性 。 偏離手擲機比賽既基本 。 我估發明呢種玩法既人個原意並非如此﹐而係利用呢種計分制度去鼓勵賽員不斷嘗試超越自己既極限。如果做到﹐滿足感會好大。

講到手擲機悶唔悶呢層就真係好睇個人。譬如 F3F 只係飛一種 task, 而且動作係不斷重複﹐我就唔覺得悶﹐玩手擲機我可以一個人掟足一日﹐唔手軟都唔願走。 但呢D都只係我個人既感覺﹐今次手擲機比賽用也野形式﹐最重要都係睇大家既意見﹐請大家多D發表。

我比較同意 YC 既意見。
如果話個Task B太簡單,都唔會簡單得過 F3F啦!
飛F3F都唔悶,玩 Task B 又點會悶呢。

反而我地要留意個 game 要不停記錄時間既話,會唔會 D 計時員跟唔上呢?
D 秒表又做唔做到多個時段既記錄?
