We had a nice gathering yesterday in Shenzhen with pilots from Guangzhou, Dongguan, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong. We were lucky in having the only sunny day for the past little while, some of us were only wearing T-shirts and were still hot!
We met at 10:30 at the flying field, and flew until ~4pm. Lots of thermals, and lots of broken planes too..hehehe
Robust from Shenzhen broke 3 planes from his launch... one of them his own, and 2 belonging to others.
OP124 from shenzhen had a 50 minute flight, and he was too excited to remember to land and recharge...so... he had a big crash from 70m and broke his plane into pieces. Don't worry, it can be fixed
I also had a mid-air with 潘灏 from Guangzhou, his Longshot didn't have much damage, but my Steigeisen wing leading edge was crushed, and my vertical tail was damaged. I fixed it with some CA and FG tape and continued flying without issues
Also, newcomer Nick from Guangzhou is now totally addicted after being able to catch a lot of big thermals during the day and immediately bought a 2nd hand plane from one of the pilots..hehe
