Dear Patrick, I'm just a new comer in DLG. Need advice from your fellow masters indeed. For the German Slingshot, you may refer to the following web site: http://www.handlaunchglider.de/ Slingshot is using the AG45/47 airfoil developed by Dr. Mark Drela. This is a very thin airfoil with flat bottom. Rgds, Alan Chan |

No, no, no, no, Alan, I don't think they agree the word 'master', we are all just new on that, specially me, I even cannot fly good, you will see next time when you see me fly a plane As I know, that Mr drela, he designed to use AG47 & 45, but it has a AG46 in between and that is one of the difficult parts to build, I've spent 2 weeks time to sort it out. According to your picture, your slingshot is ready to fly, right? when and where you will have a trail, I hope I can go with you n Y.C. Patrick |
