Hey guys,

We have organized our May SCSA F3K League contest as a larger 'SCSA F3K Spring Open' contest. Results will also be counted towards our total league scores.

Trophies and prizes for top 3, and souvenirs for top 7 pilots.

We organized this event in Nan Sha to help make it more convenient for Hong Kong pilots. The venue is only ~100 meters from the Nansha ferry pier, which has ferry service right to/from Hong Kong! http://fyt.hkust.edu.cn/cn/Ferry-Schedule.html

We originally hoped to make this an official SCSA/HKRCSS joint event, but our organization was a little too late, that's ok! Maybe we can make one next quarter :)

You can take the 8:00 am ferry from HK, and arrive at Nan Sha at 9:15. It is a 5-10 minute walk from the pier to our venue. Further details below where I copy and pasted my thread in the SCSA Forum (http://www.tsmx.cn/bbs/forum.php?mod=vi ... a=page%3D1):

場地:南沙
場地坐標: 22.775984,113.603482
日期:2013年 5月 5日
时间:9:45 报到,10:15 第一轮

總裁判:Thomas Lee
助理裁判:

所有分數計進聯賽總分數

第一名:獎杯 + Switchjack + 2* Tahmazo TS-5011 (如果25人以上參賽,2*5011 改成 Elf DLG一台)
第二名:獎杯 + Switchjack
第三名:獎杯 + Switchjack

Hi guys, that is the ferry schedule. You can take the 8am ferry from HK, and arrive at Nansha at 9:20. The field is only 5 minutes walk away from the ferry terminal (you can see it on the website header). Meeting is 10:00am, so you have 30-40 minutes to setup and put your planes together, and first round is at 10:30.

If anyone is interested please come over!!! This is a great opportunity for HK pilots to fly with SCSA, as the transportation is very very convenient compared to our regular San Shui field.

Here's the current roster of the pilots that have signed up. We are expecting another 4 from Dongguan (1 adult and 3 juniors) later today, and hopefully a few more guys from HK :)
Right now we have pilots from Hong Kong, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, and Dongguan participating in this contest.

Donny? Mak? Angus? Fai? Albert? Please don't let Stanley be alone on the boat, haha!
Even if you don't have a plane ready yet do come over and check out the contest, it will really give you an idea of how an F3K contest is run and flown :)

Thomas

Stanley, I'll help you register first~~

BTW Stanley, do you want me to help you register in a team with one of the 'expert' class pilots? Both Robust and Heaton don't have teams yet and are looking for a 'sportsman' class pilot (for May each team can only have 1 expert max).

Certainly I am not in the Expert Class. Is there a Begineer Class?
Anyway, I would be happy to join any one of your groups if they don't mind having an old guy in their groups.
Cheers!

Haha! We have 2 classes - Expert and Sportsman, everyone is in sportsman until they have reached top 5 in one of the SCSA contests or a large contest around the world. I'll get you in a team :)

Hi Stanley and Thomas,
Allan and I are considering go by ferry from ChinaHK pier as we can park the car there ($150 for 24 hours). We manage to take the 8:00am ferry

By the way, please be reminded Sunday will be the last day of the golden week and traffic will be busy at all ports.
Johnson

It was a wonderful DLG contest in Nansha today. I am just so tired after a day of intensive contest and hours of travel, but I had a lot of good memory to bring back. I have met many enthusiastic DLG pilots and some old friends there and learned a lot from them. I do encourage you guys from HK to join in future contests. Cheers!

We traveled there by boat to Nansha port

Alex Tang joined our DLG contest in Shamchung few years ago. He got the 1st runner up today, well done!

Pang Ho has joined our DLG contests in Lamma Is. and Shamchung a few times back in 2005. He is the champion today, well done!

Wow that's amazing. I'm big fan of SCSA F3K. I just joined BRITISH MODEL FLYING ASSOCIATION, it's the same thing but in UK. I have to say its amazing
Here there are few images from Europe this year. As you can see there is a lot of casino and sportsbooks at casino where you can read more about how to play in europe.
