你好,本人從網上認識貴會.現在想詢問一下有關"責任保險"問題,本人是玩直升機及多軸機,是否仍可以加入貴會?那份責任保險我也可得到保障嗎?我在網上找了很久也找不到承保個人責任的保險.希望貴會早日回覆.謝謝

Hi Jacky,

本會的保險條款列出受保範圍包括 ( RADIO MODEL FLYING ACTIVITIES),無明文限制只適用於無動力飛行的。

多謝CM的回覆,若然受保我不會猶疑馬上入會,但想多問一句,保險條款中有沒有限定的飛行地點或不可放機的地點?或其他的限制條款呢?因那網上保單描述得太簡單,因在另一論壇中也有一間保險公司承保但限制很多,所以我想多了解一點,希望執委們不要介意,謝謝。

In reacting to more new pilots flying powered 多軸機, the insurance underwriter has contacted me recently on whether our club members also fly these vehicles. It has to point out that the current terms and conditions (T&C) has been based on that our members fly only within HK and under the rules and regulations set out by HK Civil Aviation Dept. On applying the insurance cover for TR2013, our underwriter had already imposed strict condition that the flying locations had to be limited to the 4 sites which we had declared in advance for this event and with limitation on flying period(s) within a day so as to reduce the risk exposure and disturbance to the sites. Should there is higher risk exposure on claims of damages and illegal access to private areas, the T&C may have to be revised. Our society will face these issues in coming insurance renewal by June which is subject to the underwriter's review. To the worst, we may not get the renewal. I'll keep in contact with the parties on the review status.

多謝Allan的詳細資料,另外我想補充一點,除了民航署和OFCA的規則外,本會亦曾聯絡魚農自然護理署,澄清香港可作模型飛行的地點,當時,本會是以滑翔飛行乃無動力,無污染及無噪音作為理由,得到該署書面回覆本港郊野公園可作模型滑翔飛行,而動力模型是否准許在郊野公園範圍飛行,則還是一個疑問,而這或許會影響保險索償。
