Hi Doc,

This is amazing!! Thank you for the clip!

There were not many people in the afternoon. Actually, only we three were on the lawn. As you can see, nice weather and beautiful scene, we really enjoy the trip.

Allan, you can see from the video how high my plane can get. In fact I have no idea of the altitiude :lol: . ( I have an altimeter installed but I forgot to check it ! :P )

是日深涌一日遊, 非常充實!
因我未去過, 真是不知道... 原來香港有一個又乾淨又美麗的地方!

我們一早馬料水碼頭集合, 乘 8:30am 渡輪入深涌.

我是第二次玩 DLG, 還未掌握掉得高... Thomas 最高掉到40米, 我才最多 10-20米~ 謝謝 YC 割愛的 Salome DLG (2004年購入); 8年機齡, 經小小翻修後, 仍然好飛!

Need to update the air born duration achieved. Johnson's Elf did a good 10 min duration before noon.
By noon, Thomas and I had a few good thermal durations. Thomas even got a long stay in air for no less than 10 min. We both enjoyed circling at the thermal funnel 120m high up the lawn for a few times. Wonderful. :D

Thanks for the photos Albert!
Had so much fun, the scenery is perfect and the air got better and better. There's definitely a big thermal hotspot at the SE (i think) end of the field by the hills.
Will need to get more sleep the night before next time so I can throw higher! :D I think you guys will catch up to my launch height soon after some trimming and practice :) Hopefully I can pass 57m soon!!

Anyone interested in another event in August? I think it is a good site to hold some small DLG contests again in the future too, I can make some trophies similar to the Eurotour trophies later when I have more time.

My longest flight was 12 minutes on Sunday before I got tired, I think everyone will have no problem staying 10+ minutes in those weather conditions! Max launch height was only 48m on Sunday, need to stop eating so much :P

好好玩的一天,場地的配合是如此重要
好像10m/s正東風上馬安山一樣 :lol:
如8月份安排........
5/8 要操練F3F(比賽後都未飛過)
12/8 F3F比賽日
19/8 EPP 手接及定點著陸賽
最快都要 26/8 ,都好呀,多D時間攪好部機 !!!!
仲有要多謝THOMAS 指導安裝上的問題 ,THANKS :D
