This is the new powerful battery which have no danger of explosion like the Lipo ones:

They are 3V batteries. Is it possible to use them directly as a 6V receiver battery pack ?

Seen at Lomcovak site already. Yes it is powerful and some pylon flyers in Hong Kong have already used it. Seems ok!
By the way, weight for a 6~6.6V 2 cells pack is aroound 140g+, our current 4 cells RXbattery is 100~120g.

We have to put lead in the nose anyway.
The best thing is they can keep their power for extended period.
:o (3 years storage with <3% capacity loss)

Ah Kin, that should be able to save you a few Race-M 8)

They are 6V battery, and so we should use 5 cells pack to compare :D

100~120g *5/4 = 125~150g :o

實亭呢D係咩野電黎架 ﹖化學成份係也 ﹖

仲有我想問下最近開始流行話唔會走電果種 NiMH 電到底係咪可以用普通 NiMH 差機差既呢 ﹖ 會唔會爆炸既呢 ﹖

仲未知電壓太底点樣保護佢,底過2.9v-2.8v,會唔會整死D電,如果一般鋰电用底過2.6,已經瓜咗!!接收機可能底到4.2V-4.5V先至失控,所以鋰电用於接收又冇WARNING 系統,其實好危險!!电壓在2.8V以下,跌得非常快,我一定唔會用!!睇定D好D!!!!!!

Dear YC,
The Sanyo's Enneloop Nimh works great. I have been using it for 4 months. Just use normal Nimh charging equipment. They are a bit lighter than the old Nimh, say 10g for a 4 cells AA RX pack.

我就唔等啦!
呢隻電我巳經留意左幾個月,只係未?到方便買既地方。(極之睇好呢件產品,所以重??有關生產商既資料。可惜係美股,否則就已經入重貨!)

昨晚上 Aircraft-world 睇到廣告就第一時間同大家講。同時 order 左兩件返黎試。
用得好既話,會將我全線 F3F 機隊換電 : )
