HKRCSS hasn't scheduled F3F races for the next year yet. Since the first committee meeting won't be held until middle of March, there will not be an official F3F race through to the end of this windy season. The next race may be sometimes in summer! I wonder if you guys are still interested in going to Ko Lau Wan to have an unofficial F3F race there before the end of this windy season. How about sometimes during the Lunna New Year?

Fully support Stanley's idea to have some unofficeial F3F races

As there will be Hong Kong pilots joining Korean F3F Open in April, it will be very helpful to run more F3F races.

Such unofficial F3F races can also be organized somewhere not Ma On Shan (e.g.Ko Lau Wan) for Hong Kong pilots to adopting other flying slopes :o Plus attractive more 60" pilots to join the races together

For timing, just afraid Lunar Near Year time window could be difficult for some pilots !

How about tentatively set two unofficial races on, something like this :

- Feb 4 (Feb 11 as backup if wind not ok)

- Mar 4 (Mar 11 as backup if wind not ok)

Mar 4 will have an event at Kowloon Park, which will need some helpers from the society. Please avoid this date for the contest unless those helpers do not attend the contests.

We received an invitation mail from Scout Association HK few days ago. We will have a booth at the site and we need to do something there to promote glider activities to the visitors. You can see below for some information. We need to discuss how to handle the job later. Those who have time to help is welcome.

Feb 4 is a good choice. I support that, however, a backup day on Feb 11 is not possible as we have scheduled that day for DS competition.

Anybody want to go on Feb 4 to have an unofficial F3F in Ko Lau Wan or Pak Lap Wan or whatsoever find suitable? Please identify yourself as early as possible so that we have a rough idea on the number of participation.

Pilot List:

Stanley
Ah Wing
C.M.
Ah Kin
Angus
Ah Mak

6 for the timing being.

Angus

If you can not go to remote place like Ko Lau Wan with limited transport, we can go to Pak Lap Wan instead. You can leave Pak Lap Wan anytime with just a call of Taxi.
