呢個星期日天色明朗

部分時間有陽光。 東風5 級,離岸6 級。
希望天氣不變,F3F如期舉行。

Not related to RC sailplanes or F3F

USM = UnSharp Mask. It is a Photoshop filter.
The function is to increase the acutance of a photo. The photo after the filter will look sharper. However, too much USM applied will cause black and white edges formed around dark and light transitions.

But I think YC had changed the photo  and so we cannot see it now

Does the [60" F3F] only for 60" wing span? Can we use plane with less than 60" wing span? The Destiny in YC's photo is 54" :!:

I ask this because the HKRCSS homepage said "這次比賽只是 準許60寸翼展的飛機參賽" . . .

I think we should allow the wing span from 54" to 60" only and to keep the 48" out for this race. Because we really want to equalize the potential performance difference of planes and let pilot's skill be the most important ingredient to win the race.

Pls: C.M. and Y.C. please remember to bring the electronic scoring system and the poles tomorrow. Look like we shall have a wonderful race tomorrow. See you there!

Thanks to HKRCSS for running this very well organized event : 6 rounds for 18 pilots ! Really enjoy it ! Also many thanks to Angus / Y.C. etc for staying in those "dangerous zone" (i.e. Base A / Base B)

It will be great if can review Ah Fai's Split-S flying again, so impressive !

A very good video indeed.

It gave us some kind of wind situation and the pilots' feel on that day as well.
