Dear all,

The original idea for setting up the 60" class contest is letting the lesser skilled pilot to have a chance to join the competition. If the top ten (3 meter class) master joins the event, we (including myself) won't have a chance to make good. Should we exclude those masters?
Any ideas????? 8)
(PS. Hey CM, you are the one counted as the top ten!!!)

Ah Pong,

This is not the case.

When pilots with F3F ships flying against pilots with 60" planes in the same race, they have an advantage over the 60" pilots.
However, that doesn't mean 60" flyers are lesser skilled.

In fact, everyone have a fare chance to win in the 60" race.
No need to rule anyone out of the game :)

I agree with Mak. Fly 3m does not mean the pilot has good flying skill (I am a good example: bad pilot flies 3m plane  ) On the other hand good pilot can fly any types of plane and show off his skill. The aim of the 60" F3F is to let more pilots to join the game.

*** IMPORTANT NOTICE ***
I AM NOT TOP TEN. AH PONG WHY DO YOU THINK I AM TOP TEN? I WAS 11th, 13th and 11th IN THE LAST 3 F3F

Ah Pong,

For Stanley who is the true master of F3F in HONG KONG, I agree with you that we must have some limitation on him. How about this: If Stanley wants to join the 60", then he must use his Sting. Make it to 60" by removing the two tip panels. :D

I don't have 60" racer too. I can be judge/helper anyway.

Not necessary!
My Sting was already reduced to 60" with the two wing tips peeled off from the body last time when I was DSing it after F3F - she was punished for performing poorly in the F3F race. So she now refuses to run F3F anymore.

I am training another secret weapon in the coming month and hope to catch up with you guys.

Some pilots have recommended 60" F3F, but so far I haven't really had impression that there will be many participants. Instead, ordinary F3F pilots said that they do not have 60" planes so they won't join the race.

So I just want to know some statistic:
How many of you guys will come and join the 60" F3F race?
And what is the weapon that you will use in the race?

Hi, speed chassers,

Let me remind you that we have a 60" F3F next Sunday. Are you ready yet? So far we have only 13 confirmed racers, any more?

The weather was so disappointing last few weeks and we didn't have enough practice or even have chance to setting up our 60" before the race. Hope that will be getting beter next week.[/url]

I don't understand this rule:

5.F.2. 遙控斜坡滑翔機特性:

最大翼面積(St)...........150平方公寸

I know 1 square feet = 144 sq. inches, if the wing area is limited to 150 sq. inches. Then the wing of the plane will be small. and my plane will not be qualify for the race. Mine is 482 sq. inches wing area.

I think there may be some misunderstanding in the translation.

"平方公寸" = sqdm :wink:

It is 150 sqdm or 2330 sq inch in the English rule. Check it here:
