Report on informal race held in Ma On Shan, 4/11/2020
Weather forecast was good east to northeasterly wind. However, when some pilots went up to the hill at 9am and soon found out that the wind direction was too north and was not flyable. Anyway, we expected the wind direction will change later, so we started to setup the course anyway, and waited for other pilots to come up at 11am. Finally the wind did change direction to east and we were able to start the contest at 11 am with 8 pilots joining the race. Initial wind speed was at the low side of around 5m/s and then finally ramped up to about 7 m/s later.
A total of 9 rounds were completed when we called off the contest at 3:10pm.
