My first time on the slope. When we finally got to the top it was dead calm, and we could only wait and pray for some wind. Then it started to rain heavily (which happened a few times during the day) which got us soaked to the skin, but the wind that followed was amazing!
After lots of urges from my friends, I got my first slope experience with the Toba that I picked up and setup last night. And..... it got about 100 meters before I stalled it and went into a spiral, and went deep into the bushes. After an hour and lots of hard work and adventuring we were able to retrieve it with no damage.
After a while I got the guts to go again and this time it was awesome! BBBBIIIWWWWWW zooommm bammm!!!!!!!! I know I probably wasn't going that fast but man I've never been so nervous and focused in my life!!!! Adrenaline was pumping through me every second of the flight.
But during landing I *think*I stalled at again when I was a few meters from the LZ and a wing dropped, and landed harder than I want, and broke the boom right behind the wing saddle.
It should be an easy fix with some carbon, but I will likely not get around to it until after Denmark, looking forward to flying with it more!!
