各位,有些飛場如良景,你們覺得那一種斜坡方向定義比較適合(A, B or C)?有共識後我們以此作為以後定base方向和位置的依據。

模型机手多以個人主觀感覺飛行.
我選比較人性化的 "B"

用B方案時量100米好似要多些工作喎?

個人愚見認為, A和C是沒有分別的.
正如麥兄所言, 大多數機手都以個人主觀感覺來判斷point 位,
距離感愈準, 飛行距離就愈短, 準確過point, 時間就愈快,這就成
了致勝的關鍵.
但如果採取A(或C)的話, 比方:向左斜15度, 那機手如何判斷出這15度呢?
在這時候便只好聽聲轉彎了, 如是者便會大大減低了F3F的技術性.
A(或C)還有一弊處, 就是飛機很容易入了安全線而造成被扣分,
甚至對線審造成危險.
所以個人認為, (B)是較為恰當的.

數學上唔難計嘅 . . . :D

大家有無留意我們以前測距無考慮高低?用什麼工具測量垂直角度呢?(水平我們用指南針)

Good point :o If the laser measurement of A / B point = 100M, then the flying track of "方案B" will be less then 100M which imply not compliant with the FAI standard :?

BTW, any guidelines from FAI or good lessons from international contest if "方案A" vs "方案B" should be the reference practice to consider ?

B 方案對機手會比較易判斷 point 位。飛機飛出些,飛入些都沒有影響距離感。

See if can simply the set up like this :

1. Set up Base A

2. Use laser measurement (or similar precision tools) to judge the distance Base B for exactly 100m

3. Consider the virtual line linking up Base A & Base B as the "Baseline" check the exact orientation angle

4. Install the reference flags for Base A & Base B, with orientation both needs to perpendicular (i.e. 90 degrees) with respect to the "Baseline"

* In other words, the measurement of orientation will make reference to the "Baseline" and NOT x degree E nor y degree NE etc

5. In such case, the flying course theoretically should comfort to 100m; and the inclination of the "Baseline" with respect to pilot's feeling on the slope can be determined or re-aligned by calibrating the physical position of Base A & Base B

Why not make it simple, and use GPS to mark the base point location ?

GPS signal in open area (on the mountain) is more accurate.

We can measure the GPS results against that of a laser device on a level ground.
If they confirm, than GPS results can be used.

如果大家覺得(B)好啲,咁就易辦!下次上山,大家係機師位同意一個面向嘅方向,用指南針測量並記錄,Set A B時就用指南針定方向就可以。

至如測距係第二個問題,亦唔難解決。

你地成日都話 GPS 唔準, 其實有無試過o架 ?

大家都知 GPS 嘅 absolute positioning 有誤差. 10m ? 20m ?
但我們量度距離,只需要 relative positioning 準確便可.

i.e. 跑手由 0m 跑至 100m 與 由 20m 跑至 120m 是沒有分別的 !

點都好啦, 等個天停雨,
等我用 "GPS"同"拉尺"量度,比較吓就知啦!

皮尺 100m = 手机GPS 97.6m

我下次試吓部正式o既 GPS (可同時對7粒星), 睇吓會唔會準o的 :o

另... Android 手機有APPS 叫 Smart Compass, 可以用鏡頭望住兩支旗竿睇 "指南針", 超好用!

最好每次比賽用A,B,C不同方法至有新挑戰。香港飛場實在不多,如果每個場地只有ㄧ個固定設法,我們只會記住場地的轉彎點而失去新場地的適應能力,出外比賽會大為不利。

阿拔,民用GPS誤差好大,做唔到1m。

適應新場是去適應不同的地形、風速、風向、上升氣流,並非去適應枝杆set到嗎嗎斜斜。試問如果無一個標準,set到斜到無輪,跟本就飛唔到。國際賽set場都以賽道直線向外拉直角90度為準側的。 :roll: :roll:

我個人愚見認為A和C都並不理想,因為桿的角度與主斜坡面不是直角,但B的方案亦未算最理想,因為base b 地形突出,為兔panalty入了base b後,大家一定要飛得好出,事實上過去好多飛友都不知不覺飛入攞咗panalty。如果能夠將base b向內移入十多尺,base judge座後少少,問題就可以解決,飛友可選擇飛高D或飛出D都可以,唔撞山就得。

我都唔知點解成日都有人,把個base judge 放到支棋咁近 ? :?

開港都有話 "君子不立危牆之下".
上次比賽我去坐 B點時,見佢地坐到好近支棋, 我都立刻把個 judge 位拉後至行人路邊.
果度重有棵樹可以檔住由A點剎過嘅飛机. 安全好多o架! :o

我建議日後set位時,
支棋有咁出、放咁出,
人就有咁入、收咁入 :!:
