The ninth match in 2010 - HK F3F 2010

Date: September 12, 2010
Time: Pilot briefing at 7:45am. Competition starts at 8:00am.
Venue: Ma On Shan (Tentative)
CD: Alex So
Assistant CD: Chan Kwok Wai
Helper: Lai Kwong Leung

Please note:
1, Please refer to the CD's latest announcement for the Venue.
2, The last round will be the one running at 4:30pm.
3, For those who comes late, there will be no flight arrangement for the missed rounds.
4, This is an official competition. FAI and local rules will be strictly observed.

The second discard occur at the 14th round only !

2. League Result

2.1 Scoring for the league

A minimum of one league race and a maximum of 12 league races should be conducted. Depending on the number of races held, there will be a corresponding number of discards for a pilot's worse scores according to the following table:

Number of Races Held.....Number of Discards

........1-3......................0
........4-6......................1
........7-9......................2
.......10-12.....................3

All completed races after discarding the worse races according to the above table will be counted towards the ranking list. A pilot’s score in a race is computed by normalizing his own score by the best score of this race and multiplying the result with 1000 points. The computation is similar to F3F scoring.

各位飛友，不要忘記今個星期日是舉行9月份的正式比賽呀！
天氣預告是和緩南至東南風，可能我地又要返去良景二樓比賽啦！
唔知你們記唔記得，今年到目前為止的速男是由燦叔在良景創出的39.88秒，又無興趣在同一場地打破呢個紀錄？ :lol: :lol: :lol:

Of course! FAI F3F rules never mention raining as a cause to stop running the contest. Only when the wind is below 3m/s or above 25m/s, then we stop! Ha ha! :lol: :lol:

I guess there may be fog up in Jat's Incline, Leung King may be a better choice, just my suggestion though, still waiting for the CD decision :lol: :cry:

今日早上無雨，比賽在飛鵝山扎山道舉行，10時20分開賽，平均風速都有3、4米，但當賽到第一個回合尾段時天降陣雨，雨過後天放晴再賽，但好景不常，當賽到第二回合12時15分左右，又降大雨，而且持續的下，其間有雷暴，賽事宣告取消，一眾飛友急急收拾細軟下山，個個都變成落湯雞！第一回合最快速度是大約是55秒。
下雨之前影了一些相。
