Dear all,

The schedule is tight and I think we should confirm the name list ASAP so that our friends in Korea can arrange accomodation and transportation for us. As I know there is no limitation on the number of entry. So if you can go please leave your name here, and then we shall confrim the days of the trip. If you have any family or friend wants to come along, please state it here too. If you cannot decide now, leave your name here and state that you will confirm later. I hope we can send a list to the organizer on March 10. Thanks.

Dear Young-Seok,

I guess we would have a large number of pilots interested in going to Jeju.
By the way, can you help to update the schedule information in the official web site because it is pretty outdated at the moment. I know you are busy, but there will be some overseas pilots occasionally pop into the site to check out the details. Thanks

C.M.
I confirm I will also go.

Model 1: FR3 (If some masters can help me to fix it before the contest)
Model 2: Aris or (Ceres, again if it can be fixed)
Frequency: 35:100
T-Shirt: XL
Team: SMP (if you guys still welcome me)
Banquet: Yes

Perhaps, we should formulate a participation list from Hong Kong and send it to the organizer for registration rather than we do it individually.

CM Cheng, thanks.

We found and confirmed the hotel near the slope for TR KOREA newly.
We reserved rooms in a lump for over 35, pilots and companies who come along with you this time.
Don`t worry about hotel reservation! You just come and pay for your bedding!

Now the team mix may change because our Mr Hong Kong Speedman : Ah Pong confirmed to go 8)

So wonder if SMP want come together as a team :o

If so, perhaps CM, Angus, Ah So want stick as a team

I am fine to join any team but wonder I used to CNF (crash-not-finish) in HK open & Taiwan Open :? which may impact the team score :?

A team needs chemistry and I don't like to draw people together for HK1, HK2, ...

BTW, I don't want to join any team at the moment as I am still waiting for other members from AKFF.

This is our conclusion in the meeting at TR08. The aim is to increase the chance of getting good result in international competition. I am completely fine if we decide not to follow it but I really don't see any "chemistry" there in F3F that may affect the team result. Will you fly slower if you are teamed with Stanley? F3F is not basket ball nor soccer, right?

F. Fai has already told me that he will not join.

I almost forget the decision in TR08. Someone should drop a meeting note.

Recap the discussion, we follow the league score last year. Hence, we'll have SMP in full team. If Kin is joining, we'll have another team with Wing and me. It is too early to form teams as some pilots are still considering to join. Anyway, we can confirm the team arrangement at the last moment before contest.

Post subject:  Hotel information for TR

We finally confirmed hotel for TR and have made a reservation of 15 rooms in a lump because April & May is the peak season in Jeju island so it`s very difficult to get many rooms at a time.

Deluxe twin which we reserved has two single bed for 2 people and hotel bill is W80,000($54 USD per a room). The hotel bill is a reduced price.
(If you want to book another room, please let me know.)
If you want to eat meal there, you can eat Korean or Western food, hotel bill will be W100,000($67 USD) with a breakfast.
And there`s a room for 4-8 people too, but no bed, just underfloor-heating room. If you want, please let me know.

If you want to see more details, see below.
http://www.oceangrand.co.kr/english/main.asp

Please let me know your estimated time of arrival to jeju airport later.

Dear Young-Seok Shin,

Thanks for the information. We still have some more fellow pilots not yet decided to go. Anyway, we are now sorting out the air tickets from Hong Kong to Jeju. It will be a bit difficult for us because there is no direct flight from Hong Kong to Jeju. If we take the flight from Hong Kong to Incheon, then take a bus to Gimpo airport, and then take a local flight to Jeju, it will be very troublesome as we have large model boxes with us. We are searching for other more direct routes, say from Hong Kong to Jeju via Shanghai or via Taipei without changing airport.

I will let you know the total number of rooms required and the arrival information as soon as possible.

Cheers!
