I also own a Ceres, and I would say it is slower than my Aris and possible Viking. I no longer use Ceres as a first line contest model, only as a backup for light to moderate wind condition.

I have flown Skorpion, Aris, NYX and FR3 in the F3F flight simulator, I found the following results:

Aris >= Skorpion > FR3 > NYX

May be my flying style is more suitable for Aris, and indeed I won the 2009 league largely by using my Aris! :lol: :lol:

It is very diffcult to judge the model which is better !! In Hong Kong the springtime Feb-May is moist air .We fly the Race -m very fast ,but not good in dry thermal .The Skropion and Ceres fly very well in summer thermal and dry air but very diffcult in moist condition .The Aris ,Sting is good in thermal and normal condition .Nyx is a typhoon machine ,don't keep anymore !The Extreme and Predator still a new toys for us ,so let time to see their character .Choice a easy and cheap for start !
