Someone in rcgroups said one of the reasons the German decided not to join VR08 because inland F3F is more or less a "thermal lottery" :idea:

In fact, as far as I know, the German are having selection for the 2009 F3B, as well as F3K world championships.
You know that, the US is also having F3B selection this week.

yeah, yeah ... unlike F3B, F3K etc which a batch of planes will be launched together. "thermic" F3F sometimes really a matter of luck :?

However, still very interested to see top pilots demonstrating 4x.xx or even sub-40s under such non-windy conditions :o
