各位飛友，記得今個星期日(13/7)是7月份的F3F聯賽。天氣預告當日是

間 中 有 雨 及 狂 風 雷 暴
吹 南 風 4 至 5 級 。

唉！似乎老天爺成日都同我地玩野，逢星期日都下雨有霧！ 平時就放晴，例如上星期二(1/7)咪陽光普照幾好天，比我地開開心心玩番個非正適比賽！:twisted: :twisted:
睇黎我地以後都是改在平時星期天比賽好了！

今次主審和副主審是高佬偉和阿Wing

我地需唔需要預備定D避雷針之類的裝置，可在狂風雷暴下比賽呀？

Dear fellows

Here is our CD (Kolo Wai)'s idea...

Since the weather forecast continue to non-promising - estimate upcoming Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be raining and thunderstorm (有雨及狂風雷暴)

He would like to put pilot's safety first because it will be very risky to flying under thunderstorm conditions - which very difficult to predict

Also instead of everyone going to the flying site on Sunday. Our CD will make a check point based on the latest weather forecast on coming Saturday 7/12 around 18pm to decide if continue to race on 7/13 or not

In case not to proceed on 7/13, then pilots can re-arrange their personal time in advance or continue to organize "die hard" informal f3f

I've also contacted few pilots and most of them agreed to avoid racing under thunderstorm and make early decision (say on Friday / Saturday) in view of the bad weather forecast

Wish this arrangement can best balance everyone's wish and welcome for other suggestions

p.s. During late afternoon today, the sky suddenly clear up with sunshine - wish this is the good sign for changing to good weather this weekend. Let's pray for it :!:

Latset update from Kolo Wai :o

The weather was good during day time but forecast tomorrow seems not very good :!:

He suggest to decide by tomorrow morning around 8am if ok to race in 紅花嶺. If go ahead, race should start at 10am :o

So everyone please get full prepare ... and let's see by tomorrow morning :idea:

Yup ... yesterday's weather was really bad that thunderstorm around noon time than no wind afterwards :cry:

As Angus suggested, let's see if we can arrange informal f3f in FNS Jat's 2/F :idea:

The lift there used to be good and it's sure a high speed slope when compare to Robin's Nest :idea: I practiced there few times this year, always very nice :idea:

Let's also wait for the recovery of wind speed dector over there, right now awaiting maintenance :idea:

我出罐Beer Beer慰勞下個速男啦！不過如果夠膽飲就會被人控告酒後架駛滑翔機，可能抾消個速男牌照！ :lol: :lol:


邦主話想個日搞番個60寸 Man-on-Man 試下個燈箱添，不過我唸都係留番係7月24日飛行技術驗証個日先至搞個 MoM 啦，一來人又多D，EPP機友又可以參與，仲有，你知啦，有某位機師考試還未及格 :oops: :lol: :lol: ，要到個日考左個牌先至可以參加MoM賽既！ :lol: :lol:

Hi Wing Wing,

Can you help to organize the informal F3F race this Sunday, call up the diehard pilots to check how many of them will come, make sure the timing gear and equipment are properly available, and be the CD that day?

Fei Ngo Shan (Jat's Incline Mountain Top) is certianly a good F3F site if those who are not afraid of landing there. It is also my favouravle site for southerly wind, cheers! :lol: :lol:
