如果吹東風但山上有霧，白腊是一個好的選擇。 但都有幾年無去過，個降落位唔知掂唔掂。 睇番以前在白腊放機的資料 http://www.rcsail.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=140&sid=430db7f9258c59a45a321b1075fa3a43 落海執機的片段還記憶尤新！

Not agree to proceed with 白腊 unless someone conduct site visit to confirm suitable for f3f race there (e.g. A/B pole setting, landing arrangement, sufficient lift, logistics to pick up planes from ocean etc) Better if can hold some informal race there before conducting formal f3f race there; rather than forcing everyone to f3f in 白腊 to further risk f3f planes |

Better if can hold some informal race there before conducting formal f3f race there; rather than forcing everyone to f3f in 白腊 to further risk f3f planes Stanley must want to try his EPP Fox's F3F capability. The EPP Fox ’一來撞唔爛二來浮水”  Great for 白腊

While the losing rate was so high in 白腊 last year even it was a practising day, would the master pilots please detail us what happened last year? Merely no enough lift or in fact unexpected sudden drop in lift? |

I agree with Wing and Johnson. It will be quite risky to hold the official F3F at this location before getting familiar to this flying site. To me, I'm poor in $$$$$ for planes, flying, landing skill and is likely to have a poor story for the 1st flying at this site - Gone with the sea! Life is important! Yours and the plane! Besides, transportation could be a problem. If we can have an accurate weather forecast, the nominated site will be good enough. In case of immediate change to this site, how can we book a bus with short notice? |

Hi guys, Take it easy!
The idea to hold the F3F contest in 白腊 is not mine; it is from our 邦主(審) 。(邦主話想去台灣澎湖公開賽之前在相似的場地比賽下，增取經驗喎！)
I have no personal preference to hold race there or not. As I said, if we have easterly wind but heavy fog up in the mountain, it may be a good choice to hold the contest in 白腊. As far as I can remember, the incident of diving the plane into the sea few years ago was due to insufficient wind that day and we were pushing too much to practice without considering the actual low windspeed, definitely below 3m/s that day. I would say, the costal wind is very consistent and if the wind speed is above 4m/s, it is quite safe to fly over there. I do not know the up-to-date landing condition there as the vegetation may have overgrown a lot these few years. However, I would believe that we can still set up landing areas either on the left hand side (a few meters up on the ridge of slope) or right hand side (10m below a valley). We had setup a 100m course and did practice there before. The track is straight without obstruction, so F3F there definitely no problem, only landing may be a problem and also you need to have a heart-breaking courage to throw the glider out! that is
An other possibility is to hold the race on the upper part of 白腊 which is further away from the sea (about 300m to the northwest of the lower part). It is on the top of the ridge and is also striaght but I think the vegetation there is thick much similar to Lobster bay. We need to step on it to clear up the place. |

哈哈！Fellows, the idea of going to Pak Lap indeed was mine. It was just a practice joke to tease Stanley. As he said, going to Pak Lap is hoping to gain experience in flying at sea front. It would be a real difference when comparing with slope. That was why I could only got the 8th runner up in Taiwan open 2006. The lift band, track would be tricky. You have to get much encouragement to launch the plane in such condition. (But indeed, it flies) The reason why their planes went to the sea, were lacking of experience in few years ago. Nowadays, we won’t make such mistake. Last week, when I chatted with CM informally, we thought that would be beneficial if we go there, provided that most of us would like to join the Asian Open 2008. I was thinking to have a site visit before making the announcement, but I am quite sick (bird flues, may be) for the time being, and is unable to go. Seems that a lot of pilot worries, lets call off the idea.

各位似乎對在白腊比賽有些恐懼感！
都是我和阿麥不好，放機放到落了海，使你們對白腊個靚場產生負面心理陰影！
問一問，如果5月4日那天真的是吹東風，但山上又有大霧，你們有無勇氣去白腊比賽呢？ |

勿唔係每月既第二個星期日咩？ 比賽日應該係 11号 白腊比賽、我冇問題。 至多咪落多次海！我隻 NYX 有充足經驗 
如果大家唔想在白腊比賽，只係去飛吓都好架
