OK ! it's now updated after refresh of the screen!

The filename shows 20071007.JPG
I bet my computer must have the old file in buffer.

Angus, please check it up !

Mak, I can see it. I think it is more of the problem in your side!

Mak, even discard leg 9, sure you are the winner already, so may be your computer is satisfied and doesn't bother to show you leg 9 result!

I suppose the computation is normalising only the Hong Kong pilots' score with Mak as 1000 pts. However, I really cannot work out my 906 pts on the table here?? :? .
Say 1000 x 858.81/941.08= 912.6

Kin,

Yes, I can see it now.
The current table replaced the ole image file with the same name, which was stored in the buffer of my IE.
Refreshing the screen fixed the problem. Thank you :D

Hi All,
I find that the total score is used instead of the ave score in the computation. Please clarify.
It is a usual problem when engineering people and finance people are using excel spreadsheet. Yet a clarification on published information is necesary before the next Leg commences.

There may be some calculation issues with Stanley's average score table.
According to the score sheet, my average score should be 936.36 (after discard)

Your score should be 848.03/936.36*1000=905.66 = 906
Angus' calculation was consistent.

Mak and Angus,

I don't think we should calculate this way you shown.

First, we need to throw away the foriegn pilot entrees, then some 1000 points have to be awarded to local pilots who got the fastest in the round among local pilots only. Then, the average achieved should be as I shown above.

The score sheet for local pilots only is shown in

Stanley, I understand your point and I have re-calculated the league result. I add Ah Sang into the table because he also participated in our previous league races.
