Just heard that JK, the Korean F3F pilot who has visited HK Open previously, has designed a F3F/F3B model named Artist

Image

This model looks pretty. More information is in
http://www.jkflight.com/

By the way, I guess the Korean pilots are keen to hold Typhoon Race next year, but I am not sure they have made the decision yet.

Hi JK,

Congratulation on successfully completing such a stunning project. Well done!

Is Artist in production now?
It looks pretty and sexy.
If I got permission from my wife, I would love to own one!

Have any Korean pilot used it in F3F contest so far? Would love to see how it performs side by side with other world top class models.

JK and many pilots will go to Mt.Hwang-Geum today afternoon, being forecasted 4-5m/s north-southerly wind and have a maiden of it.
As I know, JK had already an firm order of Artist, over 15ea, in Korea.
4 Korean pilots will fly Artist at TR this time. I told JK that he`d better make more 5-6 Artists by then and bring them with him to Jeju island. Your eyes and heart will be captured by Artist, once you see it! I really think so.

Artist is the perfect one for F3F & F3B!

There`s Korea F3F March match on Mt.Hwang-guem san and Ki-Seong, Jang was placed first with Artist.
I couldn`t take a part in the game for personal business, but I will post some pics, if I get.

Hi JK,

Congratulation on the success of Artist in the Korean Open!
Artist is a really nice looking plane, I love to own one. Will you be able to produce one for me and then take it to Jeju so that I can pick it up during the Typhoon Race in May?

Thanks

Stanley

Hi JK,

It is a beautiful model! I like the clean design of the fuselage. I didn't see a tow hook on the bottom. Is it only designed for slope use?

Can you tell us the camber and thickness of the airfoil?

I like the nosecon type of the fuselage. :D
I designed to quickly replaced the ballast in the fuselage.

Hook use only F3b type.

Hi JK,

Thanks for your information. I understand it takes time to produce such a high quality product. In that case, I would rather like to wait until I see how Artist will perform during the Typhoon Race in May, and make the decision later so that I would not overload your work and will have a better view of Artish at the Typhoon Race.

Cheers!

Stanley

Artist doesn`t contrary to our expectations. We did the last game of 2008-2009 Korea F3F league yesterday and Ki Seong Jang was placed second and won the best speed prize, Jin Kab Kim was placed third in the race.

Maybe 5 or more Korean pilots will bring Artist to TR on May and take part in the competition. We have been flying many world-wide famous gliders which you know well and you are flying now, but I think Artist is better than others from abroad.

Hi JK,

Excellent surface finishing!! I am sure it is one of the best in the world!

Why not made a special edition for the TR09? A Korea design and Korea made model is perfect for the Typhoon race 2009 that is held in Korea.

The Asturias F3F open 2009 that held just a month before has a very special prize for the champion. The designer of the Freestyler, Franz , donates a special version to the event. It is a Freestyler III with the Asturias F3F emblems on the right wing tip.
