Hi,

I have bought the E-Typhoon from RCRCM. However it has been 20 years since I have last built a model. Could someone indicate a club I could join to get guidance for the assembly or whether some shops can assemble it for a fee?

Also, I am new to sailing in HK. I would appreciate some guidance for a first flight.

Many thanks for your feedback.

Thomas

Hi Thomas,

You can go to Clearwater bay flying site on a good Sunday, bring with your typhoon and ask, there are many pilots willing to help. We have a glider club in Hong Kong, HKRCSS, you can check on the activity on this link http:/www.hkrcss.org

By the way, you can call me at 92568087, I would be happy to discuss with you how to build your model, and help to setup and trim you model for the first flight.
Good luck

Stanley

Hi Stanley,

Many thanks. I will be passing by the Clear Water Bay flying site on Sunday afternoon (13th January). If you plan to be around then, I will give you a call.

Regards,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

We will have a F3F competition on 13 Jan, so most likely I will not be in Clearwater Bay.
Anyway, you can ask pilots in Clearwater bay to help you. Most pilots there are very friendly and are also members of HKRCSS, in particular, you should look for a guy called 三哥, he is the training officer of the club.

Cheers!
Stanley
