I'm looking for M2 size push rods with screw threads. which can be cut into 1 to 3 inches long.
Anyone know where I can find them ?

Go to Radar to buy the Hirobo helicopter push rods. Many size from 3xmm to over 100mm in an increment of 5mm. Both end threaded. Not cheap but very convenient to use.

CM,
How many inches are the rods did you use for your Spider-X ?
3mm may be too short, and 8mm too long !

Dear KY Mak,

Yes, the Hirobo push rods are good.

Do you remember on Sunday, 18th December, 2005 at High Junk Peak, you conducted maiden flight of my 'Bard'?

You tried to trim left on the aileron, but the response was very slow. Actually, due to the positioning of the aileron servo push rod, I had limited the travel of the two aileron servos to 50% to avoid jamming. I also applied 20% exponential as well, I thought it might be good for me as a beginner. Therefore, the result is seems no trimming can be applied.

After the maiden flight, returned to the work bench, I have replaced the aileron servo push rods with the 'Hirobo' one. Problem solved.

Anyway, thank you very much for your help for trimming whilst airborne, and for Ah Pong's help on the safe landing.

Thank you for the suggestion.
I'll give it a try.
