明日好大機會都有霧,飛鵝山和馬鞍山都有可能不能飛。上次由於無風都無去到。明日如果風速是正東有3至4級,好值得去白沙灣試試個場,我大約會在下午2點半到達,由消防局條路入。 |

It was misty in MOS this morning but the weather became better around 11 am. We managed to fly on and off until 3 pm. Wind was good at around 20 km/h constantly. Wing tested his beautiful Pike Brio but it disappeared in fog for 3 seconds and then suddenly appeared in front of us. Fortunately, the Pike landed before heavy fog covered the whole sky. Stanley, how's your trip to 白沙灣 today? |

We arrived at 白沙灣 at about 3:00pm. There were virtually no wind, the air was dead still! We stayed for while until 3:45pm and then moved to Clearwater Bay. The wind in CWB was marginal but flyable. I am really puzzled why these two places are so different. They both are facing the sea with similar height! Why? Clearwater Bay is a good slope site for glider flying, but unfortunately too crowd with all kinds of models; electric and now glow powered! |
