E-NE, Shek O or High Junk Peak? We will have a cold and North weekend in next week and so tomorrow may be the last chance to prepare for the VR qualifying. |

How about Lung Ha Wan N-E slope. It can be the official F3F slope for NE or ENE wind. |

Angus, I second your choice. It would be nice to go there to measure the length of course by your radar ranger to see whether it is suitable for F3F. I think the slope may be a bit shallow on where you stood for flying last time, but we can walk out and down the slope a bit from the hiking track. Most likely I will be there tomorrow, but my dominating Wife 1.0 is still fighting with me for the time slot tomorrow afternoon, so I'm still not sure yet!! |

Was the wind there ok? Sorry I can not go today for family reason. I went there on Saturday 10.12.05 with a plane in search of a suitable slope on that site for the 1st time. By the time I got to 龍蝦灣 carpark, it was already about 4pm. I walked up and met some pilots on their way down. They said no wind. I got to a pleatau. No wind indeed. The hiking trail leads to another hill top. But I didn't proceed and headed back to the carpark. Stanley, is the pleatau between the 2 hilltops the "East Slope"? |
