Just spent a couple of hours flying at Kin Ma Ling last Sunday afternoon around 4-6pm. The wind was exceptional with constantly over 20km/h SW. It was not difficult to have mid 40s under this condition. The slope is confirmed to be good for F3F under S or SW force 4 or above.

Moreover, the sun is not burning fiercely in the late afternoon and it is quite comfortable for flying.

yeah yeah ... my planes were there as well :o

The condition was nice last weekend, even flying in cross wind. Once adapt to the slope characteristics there, even without much diving, it's not difficult to accelerate and maintain good speed along the track. Should be lots of fun for racing there, if S - SW wind with forces 3 - 4 (or above) :o

Only limitation perhaps will be the "wind mill" seems to start operate late eveyday :x In other words, first roaster in early morning not working there :!: To avoid counting fingers in the slope, better consider flying from noon to later afternoon :o
